New Delhi: In the midst of the ongoing Municipal Corporation Election (MCD Election) in Delhi, there is news of the posters of Delhi's Deputy CM Manish Sisodia being put up. These posters of Arvind Kejriwal's deputy Manish Sisodia are put up on many school campuses. The controversy is that polling booths have been set up in those schools and the posters of Manish Sisodia put up there can mislead the voters.
Slow pace of voting in MCD elections:-
On the other hand, the pace of voting in the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections seems to be slow. Around 30 percent polling has been recorded till 2 pm. The election is expected to be a triangular contest mainly between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and Congress. More than 1.45 crore voters are participating in the elections being held for 250 wards of the Municipal Corporation.
Clash between AAP-BJP:-
Amidst the ongoing voting in Delhi, politics is also heating up. Both the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party have spoken of missing names of their supporters from the voter list. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said that the votes of about one thousand of our supporters have been cut, while Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the names of many people are missing from the voter list, which has been done under a conspiracy.
