Dharamshala, Himachal Transport Minister G S Bali said today, that on June 12 and 13, a meeting of state transport ministers on road safety reforms will held to discuss and finalize the changes in the motor vehicle act.

Bali added, "Around ten transport ministers of various states have confirmed to attend the meet that is being conducted by the Government of India".

It is the third meet of the group of ministers, earlier ones were conducted in Delhi and Bangalore.

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh will inaugrate the meet.

According to minister, the outcome of the meet shall play a key role in the amendment of the motor vehicle act, which is to be introduced in the monsoon session.
