Srinagar: People's Democratic Party (PDP) supremo and former CM Mehbooba Mufti has once again reiterated her demand for the Modi government to hold talks with Pakistan on the Kashmir issue. Mehbooba has said that unless the government resolves the Kashmir issue by talking to the people of Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir, there will be no peace in the Union Territory.
This statement of Mehbooba Mufti has been attacked by Bihar's Industries Minister and BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain. He said that "which pressure is behind this call"? Shahnawaz Hussain said, "Mehbooba Mufti should tell why Pakistan should be talked to? What's the pressure behind it? In Pakistan, the government is not yet known. It is also not known how long Imran Khan will be the Prime Minister of Pakistan. In such a situation, how will the government talk to the poor Khan?''
Shahnawaz Hussain further said, "This is the same Imran Khan who has also praised PM Narendra Modi's foreign policy on the issue of Ukraine and Russia. Imran Khan is now praising PM Modi for escaping." Hussain hit out at Mehbooba Mufti, saying, "Why is Mehbooba Mufti saying that talk to Pakistan. She then sheds tears when the terrorists themselves die. She makes statements against 'The Kashmir Files.' She doesn't see any pain of Kashmiri Pandits.''
