Srinagar: The situation is normal after the abrogation of Section 370 of the Constitution granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir. However, some Kashmiri leaders are still under house arrest in terms of security. Former CM and People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader Mehbooba Mufti has also been kept under house arrest along with other leaders.

On Thursday evening, former CM Mehbooba Mufti of the Valley met her mother and sister Rubaya Sayeed. Mehbooba Mufti has been kept under house arrest at the Chashamshahi resort in Srinagar. It is reported that For the first time, Mehbooba Mufti's daughter Sana had applied for a meeting with Mehbooba Mufti at the DC office at 5 pm on August 27.

He was informed that no permission is required from the administration to meet Mehbooba Mufti. Mehbooba Mufti's sister Rubaya Sayeed reached Srinagar at 4 pm on Thursday evening and met her. It has also been said that no ban has been imposed on the family members of any leader to meet him. After the abrogation of Section 370 from the valley, some precautionary restrictions have been imposed in the state.
