Srinagar: People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief and former CM Mehbooba Mufti has alleged that the central government is weaponising the pain of Kashmiri Pandits through the movie 'The Kashmir Files.' Mehbooba Mufti tweeted on Wednesday that the way the Indian government is promoting The Kashmir Files movie makes their intentions clear.

Mehbooba Mufti said that the central government, instead of healing old wounds and creating a conducive atmosphere between the two communities, is deliberately separating them. Let us know that Vivek Agnihotri's film is getting great responses all over the country. The film has been made tax-free in several BJP-ruled states. PM  Narendra Modi has also praised the film. Not only this, in one of his speeches, he has slammed the people who are opposing it by condemning the film.

PM Modi said, "Those who always walk around with flags of freedom of expression, for the last five-six days, their entire tribe has been shocked. And instead of discussing this film on the basis of facts and art, they have started to discourage it. A whole eco-system dares to reveal the truth, he tried to present the truth he thought, but he is ready not to understand the truth, nor is he ready to accept it, nor does the world see it, so for the last five or six days, the conspiracy has been going on."
