Mathura: A memorial has been constructed in Mathura to commemorate the dead elephants during Wildlife SOS treatment, an organization working for the conservation of elephants. The institution has said that this memorial has been built in memory of the elephants who tried to save it during the rescue operations but died during treatment.

Naresh Kumar, manager of Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation Center, has said that this memorial for elephants will become the first such memorial in the country. Describing the memorial, Naresh Kumar has said that it has been built in memory of the elephants who were resuscitated and who died during treatment.
