Mathura: A memorial has been constructed in Mathura to commemorate the dead elephants during Wildlife SOS treatment, an organization working for the conservation of elephants. The institution has said that this memorial has been built in memory of the elephants who tried to save it during the rescue operations but died during treatment.
Naresh Kumar, manager of Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation Center, has said that this memorial for elephants will become the first such memorial in the country. He has stated that at present, he has 23 rescued elephants from different parts of the country who are being treated. Describing the memorial, Naresh Kumar has said that it has been built in memory of the elephants who were resuscitated and who died during treatment.

Here a board with the names of dead elephants written about them will also be installed so that people can know about it. Explain that Wildlife SOS is an organization working for the conservation of extinct wildlife species. It has established the Elephant Conservation Center in Churmura village of Fahr block in Mathura, where rescued elephants are kept from across the country. So that the institution is also setting up a hospital for elephants.
