Almost 2 month ago, The Me Too movement  had became the burning topic in India. This movement bought the revolutionary change in the entertainment Industry to make the workplace safer for women workers. All this began after Tanushree Dutta’s accusation against senior actor Nana Patekar. Her courage gave strength to many women to open up about their ordeal. The singer Sona Mohapatra also shared her ordeal.

Sona Mohapatra had come out about her story of being sexually harassed by singer Kailash Kher. Post her accusation against Kailash Kher, a number of women started opening up about the same. Now, Sona Mohapatra took to Twitter to start a petition against Kailash Kher and urged Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal to cancel the singer's performance and participation in Delhi government’s Mayur Vihar Utsav. She wrote in her petition on change.org, “I am shocked to learn that Kailash Kher has been asked to headline a performance at the Delhi Government's Mayur Utsav that begins today”

In another Tweet Singer wrote, “Dear #Delhi , @AamAadmiParty & @ArvindKejriwal @LtGovDelhi Multiple #women including minors have come out in the public with their #MeToo stories against this predator, Kailash Kher & u choose to rub this kind of insult to injury? Do u care so little for 50% of ur population?”

 The people are supporting the petition of the singer. In less than 4 hours, her petition got support from over 700 people.
