Patanjali Ayurveda Limited has developed a coronil drug for the treatment of coronavirus. Which is believed to be very effective in treating the virus. Recently the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has taken cognizance of the reports published in the media about claims of drug discovery of Coronavirus and has clearly stated that the Ministry should be informed about the truth and details of the claims of the alleged scientific study.

After the statement of the Ministry of AYUSH, Patanjali Chairman Acharya Balkrishna has described it as a 'communication gap' and claimed that 'his company has provided all the information to the Ministry of AYUSH. Regarding medicine, Balkrishna wrote in his tweet that "This medicine is going to give encouragement and glory to Ayurveda. All the set standards of clinical trials are 100 percent fulfilled."

But amidst all these debates, Patanjali's coronil medicine has been approved by the Ministry of AYUSH. It is expected that after coming to the market, doctors will get more success in treating the virus than before.
