New Delhi: There is no coordination between the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Ministry of Science and Technology regarding the corona vaccine. However, the ministry has removed the statement from the press release issued by it, due to which there was a disagreement between the two.

The Ministry of Science and Technology, in its press release, stated that with COVAXIN and ZyCov-D, 11 of the 140 vaccine-making companies around the world are running trials on humans, but none of the 2021 vaccines are unlikely to be ready for mass use before. However, from the press release, 'None of these vaccines is likely to be ready for use on a large scale before 2021'.

The process of preparing the Corona vaccine is going on in the country. The possibility of launching the vaccine has been announced by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on 15 August this year. However, many organizations and opposition had questioned the ICMR's claim regarding the vaccine. ICMR DG Doctor Balaram Bhargava instructed the chief researchers on July 2 to complete the clinical trial of the corona vaccine as soon as possible so that on August 15, the world could be given the first corona vaccine.

According to a letter issued by ICMR, the enrollment for human trials will start from July 7. After this, if all the trials were done properly, then it is expected that the cocaine can be launched by 15 August. First of all, India can come in the biotech vaccine market. Experts say that it is not possible to make the vaccine until 15 August. Such instructions have tarnished the image of ICMR, India's top medical research institute. The ministry had also said that vaccine would be introduced by 2021.

The ICMR said in its clarification on the rapid development of the people, the safety and interest of the public is the biggest priority. This letter was written to keep the vaccine process at a slow pace.
