Minor 'handed' to 6 people, faces rape and immoral trafficking

On Monday, the Mathura police have arrested six people in charge of attempt of rape and child and immoral trafficking. According to the police reports, all the six accused including four employees of Military Engineering Services (MES), a private bank employee and guest house manager were arrested after a complaint by a minor girl from Assam.

As per the reports published in TOI, the police official control room have received a call from a local residency number of Agra. The minor girl was on the other side, who was allegedly drunk and asked for the police help. The call was made around 12:30 am. After her complaint, the local police officials raided Jai Shree Krishna Guest House in Dhauli Piyau in Mathura. From the location, police have arrested six people. 

All the six peoples who are arrested were identified as Anuj Kumar, constable, MES, Aditya Chaudhary, upper divisional clerk, Akhilesh Kumar and Saurabh Singh from MES, bank employee Manoj Chaudhary, and guest house manager Vijay Pal, reports TOI.

Another accused Jeetu, who is an accuse of luring the girl from Assam on the pretext of getting her a good job had allegedly handed the minor to the six suspects in Mathura. The police officials have sent the girl for a medical examination. 

During an interview with the leading daily, Shrawan Kumar Singh, SP city, said that the case has been registered against all the six people under IPC section 376/511 (rape attempt) and under relevant sections of the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act and POCSO Act. There are reports that the local police have sealed the guest house following further investigations.
