NEW DELHI: In northwest Delhi's Shahbad Dairy area, the Delhi Police have taken into custody two young individuals and a juvenile following allegations of sexual assault against a minor girl. This incident came to light when authorities received a report on June 27 at the Shahbad Dairy police station.
One of the accused, Bobby (19), was swiftly apprehended by the police in the vicinity of Shahbad Dairy in immediate response to the distress call. Out of the four individuals involved, three have been captured by the authorities. The remaining accused is currently evading arrest, and a rigorous manhunt has been launched to bring them to justice.
The officials have registered a case against the accused under sections 376D, 323, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, as well as the 6 POCSO Act, at the Shahbad Dairy police station. Furthermore, in connection with the 21 POCSO Act, two juveniles have also been taken into custody, as revealed by the official sources.
