Patna: The morale of miscreants in Bihar is high. In Siwan, on Thursday night, fearless miscreants made a fatal attack on a JDU leader. The leader narrowly escaped this attack. The incident took place at Madarpur under the Lakri Nabiganj police station area at around 9 am. Manoj Patel, a resident of Narharpur near Madarpur bridge, was preparing to close his shop. He was counting the cattle kept in the shop. Then two criminals riding a motorcycle came and fired two rounds at him. 

Hearing the sound of the same firing, Manoj Patel hid under the fridge kept in the shop. Due to this, the bullet went into the wall behind him. While firing, both the motorcycle-borne criminals fled toward the north. After getting the information of the incident, Lakri Nabiganj police station in-charge Suraj, ASI Girishdev Singh reached the spot along with his team and got involved in the investigation.
 
There is an atmosphere of fear among the people due to the incident. Just a few days ago, a potato trader was shot by miscreants in the Lakhnaura vegetable market. At present, there is anger among the local people due to continuous criminal incidents. There is an atmosphere of chaos due to this incident.
