Patna: Addressing the local chapter of Bihar Foundation in Dubai, UAE, former Deputy CM and Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi told investors that soon the Bihar government is coming out with a different policy of new textile, leather, logistics, export incentives. He said this will provide a new opportunity for investors from Dubai and other Gulf countries to invest capital. Modi told investors that 20 to 24-hour power in Bihar, all-district centres are connected by 4-lane roads. Patna, Gaya, Darbhanga have airports and Bihar is adjacent to Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan which creates compatibility for exports.

Modi said that under the new ethanol policy, 17 units with an investment of Rs 3423.25 crore and a capacity of 75 crore litres per annum have entered into a long-term agreement with the oil marketing companies. People of Bihar Foundation suggested that in the figures of lakhs of rupees, the labourers coming from Bihar will be able to get more salary if they are given skill training according to the requirement of Dubai's industries. The members also demanded action against some of the recruitment companies who dupe workers of lakhs of rupees and send them to Dubai by giving them tourist visas.

Along with this, Ravi Chand, Dilip Sinha, Sunil Sinha etc. organizers of the Bihar foundation also addressed and gave a vote of thanks. It may be mentioned that mp Sushil Kumar Modi is also among the Indian delegation visiting the UAE. They will attend the conference of The Dubai Chapter of Bihar Foundation here on February 26.
