New Delhi: The Indian fast bowlers performed brilliantly after the collapse of the Indian middle-order on the third day of the Centurion Test. Pacer Mohammed Shami, who took 5 wickets in Africa's first innings, wreaked havoc on the South African batsmen. Mohammed Shami became the 11th Indian bowler to reach the 200-wicket mark in the format. Chasing a score of 327 runs, South Africa were bowled out for 197.

Apart from Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Shardul Thakur took 2 wickets each and Mohammad Siraj took one wicket in South Africa's first innings. On the first day, the Indian middle-order was completely shattered in front of Lungi Ngidi and Kagiso Rabada and Team India were all out for 327. Mohammed Shami has also added a special record in the match, making Shami the first Indian bowler to take 200 wickets in the lowest balls.

Mohammed Shami's 5-wicket haul gave India a brilliant 130-ran lead. Kagiso Rabada became Shami's 200th victim in Test cricket. Before Shami, Kapil Dev took 200 wickets in 50 Tests as a fast bowler. Javagal Srinath completed 200 wickets in 54 Tests.
