There are many interpretations of the word mother in Hinduism. But most of the knowledge we get from our scriptures. If we talk about the scriptures, then in the Valmiki Ramayana, Lord Rama has said that “Janani Janmabhoomi Swargadapi Gariyasi. That means mother and motherland are better than heaven. There are many opinions about the origin and meaning of the word Maa (mother). Different genres have interpreted the word mother. How did this one-letter address become the best speech in the entire universe, in which respect, love, belongingness, self-respect, everything that is considered to be an essential element from the spiritual point of view, all those expressions have been attached to this word.

Sanskrit grammar says that Maa is composed of mother. Mother became mother and mother became mother. Two meanings have been given in Sanskrit for the word Ma. Ma has a meaning (don't). But mother is not made of this mother letter. The closest meaning of the word Maa which the Puranas say is Lakshmi. Probably the mother (Lakshmi) is made from this mother. Because, Lakshmi obeys, the mother also follows the infant. If seen in this way, then the mother is a form of Lakshmi.

For this reason some scholars believe that mother means ma + aa means i means superpower and aa means soul ie mother, thus mother is the best work of God through which God communicates and expands his power through his share.
