The 36 year old women and her son were misisng from Assam, Nagaon village from November and has been found in Paskistan Jail where a case has been lodged against them for illegally tresspassing the border. 

After a period of 2 months, the women and her son has been found out by the Assam Police and the women has been identified as Wahida Begum who has lost her husband two years back from where she has inherited the properties of her late husband. 

She has allegedly fall in love with a man who is still not been identified and has been suspected as an Afghan or Pakistani national. She was lured into marrying him and taken to Saudi Arabia in pretext of marriage using forged documents and then to Pakistan. The woman has sold her marital properties and went with her son, to Saudi Arabia in November with that man.

Following the event of her leaving, her mother Azifa Khatun filed a missing report at the Nagaon police station of her and her son. And later she came to know about the whereabouts of her after receiving a letter from a Pakistani law firm stating that Wahida and her son has been detained by the Pakistani army in the district jail of Quetta in Pakistan for crossing the border without have legal documents.

Later the women's mother received has received a call from her daughter confirming her location and telling that she and her son are deatined in the women's ward of Quetta jail.  

Superintendent of Police, Nagaon district, Leena Doley said, "the women was able to make calls to her mother over social media platforms using a phone given to her by someone from the jail staff. She told her mother she was duped with the promise of marriage and taken to Saudi Arabia using fake documents and from there to Pakistan".

She also said that how they have landed to Pakistan is still a mystery for us and women wants to come back to Assam and has asked for the help of police. Woman and he son has said that they have been in a good condition and haven't been tourted.

Doley has said that the matter has been taken up with the higher authorities including in the New Delhi. And the women's mother has also written down to the Pakistani embassy but hasn't got any response from there. She also has filed a petition to the Delhi High Court and to President Droupadi Murmu seeking the release of her daughter and grandchild from the Pakistani custody and also for the protection and safety of their lives.

But on Friday high court has dismissed her plea saying that the matter is not on their hands, it is not with the jurisdiction and asked to approach Guwahati High Court.
