Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tandon is admitted in Medanta Hospital in Lucknow. His condition is still critical. He has been on an elective ventilator since Monday after his breathing increased. President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have asked about his health on the phone from Tandon's relatives. Right now Tandon's situation is being told out of danger.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has also met Governor Tandon in Lucknow hospital on Tuesday. CM Chauhan said, "He is getting world-class treatment in Medanta, I am sure he will be healthy soon." It is being told that when Chauhan greeted Tandon, he also responded with a hand gesture. Union Health Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan has also held a long discussion with his family members regarding the health of Tandon. On his instructions, Dr. Randeep Guleria, director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, has also given his opinion by asking the doctors of Medanta Hospital for complete details of treatment and investigation. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remains in constant contact with the hospital management. Arrangements have been completed to provide medical specialists or all kinds of health facilities immediately to Tandon. President Kovind has taken information about Tandon's health on the phone twice.
Prime Minister Modi also wished to get well soon after a long discussion with Tandon's relatives. The Governor, Chief Minister, and ministers of several states including Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Narendra Tomar, and Ramdas Athawale have also taken information about the health of the Governor over the phone.
