Bhind: In Bhind's Lahar, Madhya Pradesh, two officers have been reprimanded for forcibly removing encroachments by the municipality and administrative staff. Municipality CMO Mahesh Purohit has been removed from the post and sent back to Chambal division. Lahar SDM R. A. Prajapati has also been attached to Bhopal after being removed from Lahar subdivision.
In fact, on Wednesday, CMO Mahesh Purohit, along with the municipality and administrative staff, reached the house of Mohan Ojha, a resident of Sadar Bazar Ward No. 12, Lahar, with a bulldozer and started taking action on the encroachment in a hurry. Due to the action, the women were trapped inside the house. Due to this, she started crying and pleading to be taken out. As soon as the local people heard the cries of the women, they got angry and vandalised the JCB. Also assaulted the CMO. As soon as the news of the incident was received, BJP leaders Rasal Singh Mathura Prasad Mahant and Amrish Sharma Guddu, along with hundreds of their supporters, reached the police station and surrounded it.
Thereafter, the local MLA and leader of the opposition, Dr. Govind Singh, while holding a press conference in Bhopal, accused the BJP of assaulting the administrative staff. Along with this, he also accused BJP leader Amrish Sharma of threatening government employees with a gun. On the other hand, the BJP leader and his supporters stayed in the Lahar police station for 10 hours and accused the administrative officers of taking action with the help of the leader of the opposition, Dr. Govind Singh. After that, the BJP leaders talked about the action taken by the officers of the administration in Bhopal. Thereafter, in the late evening, action was taken against two officers of Lahar Municipality, CMO Mahesh Purohit and SDM RA Prajapati, by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
