Patna: Politics has once again heated up in Bihar's politics. Mukesh Sahani, the minister of animal husbandry in the Nitish government and the president of the VIP party, an ally of the NDA, has openly expressed his displeasure. He said his party will contest the MLC elections in all the 24 seats being held in Bihar. Apart from this, he clarified that his party is contesting the elections to win and that is why he has decided to field candidates in all the seats.
The division of seats has already been done between the two big allies of NDA, BJP and JDU, due to which Mukesh Sahni is said to be upset. Earlier on Friday, Mukesh Sahni had met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Due to this, he had discussed about the MLC election. However, after this meeting, while discussing with the media, he said that he has not spoken to the CM regarding the MLC election. We will talk to them about the government and not the seats.
Earlier, due to the assembly elections in UP, he had also announced to contest the election. Then, he had said, "Why would we oppose anybody? We're doing our job. Fighting separately in Uttar Pradesh will not have an impact in Bihar. Everyone has a different party and their own ideology.''
