Lucknow: On the 11th day of the death of Samajwadi Party (SP) founder and former CM Mulayam Singh Yadav, a peace recitation and havan program is being organized in his native village Saifai on Friday (October 21). Brahmins from Ayodhya and Kashi have been called for this program. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and his wife Dimple Yadav offered prayers at the Shanti Path with chanting of Vedic mantras. Prayers were offered for the peace of the departed soul. The Saifai family appeared together in the program of Shanti Path and Havan Pujan.

Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, Shivpal Singh Yadav, RamGopal Yadav, and Aparna Yadav attended the peace lesson. Along with this, Dharmendra Yadav and Prateek Yadav also reached the worship program. Along with the Shanti path programme being held in Saifai today, the SP has also organised tribute meetings in memory of 'Netaji' at district headquarters across the state. Brahmins from Ayodhya, Varanasi have been called to Saifai for havan pujan of this Shanti path, who are worshipping with Vedic mantras. There is a rush of leaders at the venue. Everyone is paying homage to 'Netaji' and reciting for peace of soul.

Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away on October 10 at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. On his death, leaders of the entire country including the President, and Prime Minister paid tribute. The next day, on October 11, his last rites were performed at his home village Saifai.
