Crime Branch officials in India's financial capital Mumbai have recovered a fake consignment of N95 mask. Its price in the market is being told as Rs 27 lakhs. The crime branch had already received information about this. On this basis, two inspectors Ashok Khot and Nitin Patil detained a person supplying the mask. In this case, a mini-truck was seized from the Worli area of Mumbai.

According to the police, there were 98 thousand masks in the truck, which were to be supplied in different medical shops in Mumbai. The police have detained an accused named Riyaz Ahmed Khan. According to information received from the media, the police have registered a case under sections of IPC like fraud, negligence and endangering the life of the public under the Copyright Act. At present, the police is ascertaining where these masks were made.
