New Delhi: Efforts are on to end the tension between India and China on the Line of Control (LAC). Meanwhile, Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat said that there is a military option in Ladakh to deal with the changes made by the Chinese military, but considering this option, the military and diplomatic level negotiations failed. However, he refused to discuss military options.

Speaking to a private news channel, CDS General Bipin Rawat said that the reason for the dispute over LAC, there are different perceptions about the border. Chinese soldiers are still deployed in Pangong. They are not ready to back off from Finger-5. To resolve the dispute on LAC, India and China negotiated several times at the military level. It also includes lieutenant-general level talks. Negotiations are continuing at the diplomatic level as well. Joint Secretary level officials are talking to China. There is talk of reducing the tension on the border between the two sides.

The LAC dispute is not resolved from this conversation. The Chinese Army People's Liberation Army (PLA) is practising in Finger and Darla areas. CDS General Bipin Rawat has tried to give a strong message to China by giving a statement on the idea of the military option.
