Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday seized 100 gm of Mephedrone from a person's possession.

According to the report, The Mumbai zonal unit of NCB on Saturday arrested a drug trafficker and seized 100 gm of Mephedrone from his possession. Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director, Mumbai Zonal Unit NCB said the accused has been identified as Ibrahim Mujawar a resident of Jogeshwari. He said,  the accused has bought it from Asif Rajkotwala a resident of Dongri. Asif was arrested with a small quantity of Charas. The police said that the probe on the case is underway.

Earlier on February 02, The NCB had seized mephedrone, a banned drug, worth around Rs 15 lakh in Mumbai and apprehended three persons in this connection. According to the source, Based on specific information, the NCB conducted a raid on a flat in Mahim area here around Monday midnight. A commercial quantity of mephedrone valued at around Rs 15 lakh was seized during the raid. Team  also nabbed three persons in this connection.
