Mumbai: The scourge of corona infection is on the rise in Mumbai. There are record deaths every day. At present, the situation has become such that many people are not reaching the hospital to collect their bodies due to fear of infection. There are many unclaimed dead bodies in Mumbai at present, which there is no one to claim. As per the information received, the police are taking the responsibility of cremating the bodies.

Recently, mumbai police has given an order according to which police will now cremate the unclaimed bodies. It is said that the mortuaries where unidentified bodies are lying and no one has come forward for their cremation so far, the police have now come forward for their last rites. In this regard, Mumbai Police says that it will cremate such bodies at the earliest. At present, instructions have been issued by Mumbai Police to all police stations in this regard.

The directions say that the unclaimed bodies should be treated as accidental death and cremated by the police. At the same time, hospitals will also inform the local police station about such bodies. According to the order given by the police, the bodies will be cremated legally.
