Myanmar: According to an announcement from the Ministry of Health, the number of Covid-19 infections in Myanmar (a South East Asian country) has climbed to 517,922, with 527 new cases diagnosed in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 14 more deaths have been reported, bringing the total number of deaths to 19,025. According to the announcement, the daily positive rate is 2.55 percent. As per news reports, 490,913 people have been discharged from hospitals and more than 5.37 million samples have been tested for Covid-19.

According to a press release from the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, another one million doses of Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine supplied by China arrived in Yangon on Sunday. According to the Ministry, more than 10.4 million people have been fully vaccinated across the country, while more than 4.91 million people have received their first Covid-19 vaccine shots as of Saturday. On March 23, 2020, Myanmar discovered its first two Covid-19 positive cases.
