Kolkata: Violent clashes have once again been seen in West Bengal. Yes, this ruckus started here about the BJP's Nabanna Chalo March against the state government. After this, there was a fierce clash between BJP workers and the police. Police used water cannons and fired tear gas shells to stop and disperse BJP workers in Howrah's Santragachi area amid the Nabanna Chalo campaign. During this time too, fierce violence was seen.

What was the protest about? In fact, for the last few weeks, ED and CBI raids are going on continuously in West Bengal. According to the information received, many ministers of the Mamata government are on the radar of agencies and some have also been arrested. In such a situation, BJP had announced a demonstration on these issues of corruption. At the same time, thousands of BJP workers and leaders gathered to take out a march to the Secretariat in Kolkata and it was named as Nabanna Chalo March. At the same time, the police had already made preparations for this, after which the protesters were stopped on the way. The BJP workers turned violent after the police stopped and created a ruckus. Many policemen were also injured during this. In which the assistant commissioner of Kolkata suffered a fracture in his hand. Seeing this matter increasing, the police took all the BJP leaders including Suvendu Adhikari into custody, till late night there was heavy deployment of the police force in the violence-hit areas.

BJP-TMC allegations- The ruling party TMC attacked the BJP fiercely over this whole matter. In fact, it was said on behalf of TMC that there was an attempt to spoil the atmosphere in Bengal on behalf of BJP leaders and there was hooliganism in public. On behalf of the BJP, Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari said, "This is a peaceful movement. This is an issue of corruption and unemployment. The people of Bengal are not with Mamata Ji, so she is doing dictatorship like North Korea in Bengal."
