Samples of a total of 346 athletes who joined the recently concluded Khelo India Youth Games 2020 in Guwahati have been collected by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA).This action has been clearly done with the goal of operating the sports environment properly. Nada has said, 'We have achieved more than our goal, so this time it is our big success.' The agency further said that doping cannot be tolerated at all and our action suggests that we have a 'no tolerance' policy for doping.

As per the results of Khelo India Youth Games 2020, Maharashtra stood first with 256 medals. Second-placed Haryana won a total of 200 medals (68 gold, 60 silver and 72 bronze medals). Delhi got a total of 122 medals (39 gold, 36 silver and 47 bronze) in third place. Wushu martial arts artists from China performed brilliantly at the closing ceremony. Around 6800 players from 37 states and union territories took part in these games. In this, 20 sports competitions were organized.

The agency said, 'We are working on a large scale to completely eliminate the practice of doping. This includes athletics, gymnastics, volleyball, judo, table tennis, cycling, archery, lawn ball, tennis, shooting, kabaddi, aquatics, weight lifting, boxing, basketball, kho kho, football, hockey, wrestling and badminton. Has taken 'Khelo India' was launched by Union Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju and Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on 10 January, Friday. The way it started with the colorful programs was also concluded.
