Actress-turned-politician Nagma is ruling the hearts of the people with her acting in several Tamil and Telugu movies in the 90s. Nagma's birthday falls on December 25. Nagma got this name after coming to the movie. Her real name is Nandita Morarji. 

Nagma's father Arvind Pratap Singh Morarji was a big businessman. It was Nagma's mother who encouraged her to become an actress. Nagma says my mother lived with me on the movie set for many years.  Nagma started her career with the 1990 film Baaghi with Salman Khan. The movie was a hit. Salman and Nagma were in relation. She was only 16 years old at the time.

She then worked with Akshay Kumar in Suhag Movie. The film also proved to be a super hit at the box office. Nagma's name is among the actresses who achieved early success. However, at the behest of his friend Divya Bharti, she started working in Telugu and Tamil movies. Now Nagma turned 44 and still unmarried.

Nagma acted in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bhojpuri, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali films and later quit acting and joined politics. Nagma is seen campaigning for the Congress party. Nagma had claimed to have formed a government at the Centre under the leadership of Congress President Rahul Gandhi after this Lok Sabha elections though Modi formed the government again.
