New Delhi: Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat in the year 2001. After this, he took charge of the country in 2014 as the PM of the country. Since then, this journey has continued continuously and today he is leading all the citizens belonging to every community, class, and caste of the country. The special thing is that Narendra Modi, who talks about the rights of Dalits, has had a close relationship with the Muslim community since childhood.

Narendra Modi was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat. Apart from him, there were also two elder brothers in the house. His elder brother's name is Som and Amrit, 2 years after Modi's birth a sister was born in the house, named Vasanti. Later, two more brothers Prahlad and Pankaj were born. In Vadnagar, the Modi family used to live in an area that was very close to the Muslim community. So it is obvious, that most of his childhood friends were Muslim. It is said that one of his closest friends was named Jasud Khan Pathan. He used to celebrate Hindu as well as Muslim festivals. He didn't find anything unusual in this. These friends gave Narendra Modi the nickname 'ND'.

PM Modi himself has mentioned Abbas, a close friend of his childhood, in one of his blogs. PM Modi has written about Abbas in his blog that, he used to live together in a small room in Vadnagar, where he grew up, and he built a house with mud and tiles. PM said "There was a village a little away from our house, where the son of a very close friend of my father lived. His name was Abbas. After the untimely demise of his father, our father brought Abbas home. In a way, Abbas stayed in our house and studied here, as if we all studied here. Mother took great care of Abbas. On the occasion of Eid, his mother also used to cook food of Abbas's choice.''
