Aamir Khan is once again in news. After the controversy of  Laal Singh Chaddha, now the actor ended into another controversy because of his ad. The ads, It begins with Kiara Advani and Aamir Khan, dressed as bride and groom, talking about how she didn't cry during her 'bidaai'. The commercial further hints at Aamir becoming a 'ghar jamai' and being welcomed by Kiara's family. Later, her dad is shown in a wheelchair and Kiara thank Aamir for doing this.

After this various people started expressing their dissatisfaction from the ad. Madhya Pradesh  Home Minister Narottam Mishra has also reacted to ad, requesting Aamir to appear in commercials “keeping in mind Indian traditions.”

Narottam Mishra said, “I received complaints and saw the ad. I request Aamir Khan to appear in ads keeping in mind Indian traditions. Such twisted acts hurt religious sentiments. He doesn’t have permission to hurt anyone’s religious sentiments.”

Earlier Kashmir Files Director Vivek Agnihotri also expresses his dissatisfaction from the ad, “I just fail to understand since when Banks have become responsible for changing social & religious traditions? I think@aubankindia should do activism by changing corrupt banking system. Aisi bakwaas karte hain fir kehte hain Hindus are trolling. Idiots(they do nonsense like these and then say Hindus are trolling).”

On social media also various people criticized the ad.  One user wrote, "Aamir Khan loves to do ads which mock Hindu traditions .. he will never dare talk or do any ads pertaining to Hijab, Burqua, Triple Talaq, Halala.. maintains pin drop silence on Sar Tan Se Juda." Another tweeted, "Aamir Khan, once again, mocks Hindu traditions & insult our emotions. I'm not upset by that coz it's in his DNA & his religion teaches him to insult kafirs But what's wrong with @aubankindia for mocking Hindus. Can @TambiSaurabh make similar advt on Muslims & Christians?"
