New Delhi: The US space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has shared a photo of India claiming to have discovered Vikram Lander. The Indian Space Research Organization's (ISRO) attempt to make Chandrayaan-2's Vikram Lander a soft landing on the lunar surface on September 7 failed and Vikram Lander lost contact with ISRO's centers a few minutes before landing.

These pictures are the result of weeks of work involving Nasa's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera team. This arresting Nasa image, released on December 3, shows the precise spot on the Moon's surface where Vikram, the lander deployed in India's Chandrayaan-2 mission, hard-landed in early September. NASA has said in a statement that it sought to share the photo on September 26 the site and identify the debris of Lander in the picture people.

For information, let us tell you that NASA said that Shanmuga Subramanian approached the LRO project and identified the first piece about 750 meters northwest of the main site. If this campaign of India had been successful, it would have become the fourth country to reach the moon after America, Russia and China.
