The video of a 30-year-old man is going viral on social media, in which it is allegedly seen distributing alcohol to people. The person has been arrested after this video went viral. Due to the lockdown, liquor shops are closed all over the country.

The Excise Department has registered an FIR under the illegal possession and consumption of liquor under the relevant sections of the Telangana Excise and Prohibition Act, for sharing liquor in the dry day. Later, a senior official said that the man and another person supporting him have also been arrested. Liquor shops and bars in Telangana have been closed due to lockdown.

In his statement, the officer said that the video of the man was recorded by some people present while distributing liquor to people outside a toddy shop in Champapet. It was later uploaded to the video sharing app. In this clip, this person is seen pouring liquor in a glass and another person has caught the glass. The officer further said that one such video was recently made in Punjab, which went viral on social media.
