NCP chief Sharad Pawar has given a statement regarding CAA and NRC. In Pune, he has attacked the government saying that CAA, NRC is trying to divert attention from serious issues. Violent demonstrations are taking place in many states of the country including UP and Bihar in protest against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). An FIR was lodged against 100 persons for organizing protests in Prayagraj yesterday. About 150 people were detained. Another FIR was registered against 10,000 unidentified persons on charges of violation of Section 144 in the area.

For your information, let us tell you that in the violent protest against the citizenship law of Indian Railways, railway property worth Rs 88 crore has been damaged. Property worth Rs 72 crore has been damaged in Eastern Railway Zone. Property worth Rs 13 crore in the South Eastern Railway Zone and Rs 3 crore in the Northeast Frontier Zone has been damaged.

In view of the increasing performance in the country, NCP chief Sharad Pawar has given a statement regarding CAA and NRC. Attacking the government in Pune, he said that the CAA, NRC are trying to divert attention from the serious issues that the country is facing. He said that it is not just the minority but the unity and progress of the country All the people are opposing CAA and NRC. Furthermore, Pawar further said that the CAA will spoil and damage the religious, social unity and harmony in the country. Under the CAAA, why allow only Sri Lankan Tamils to migrants from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
