According to the victim's family has informed the police, an investigation has been started from the angle of 'love jihad'. Accused Abdul had trapped Sanjana in his trap by the name Rajan.
According to the report, 20-year-old Sanjana Barkade was a national player of baseball and was originally a resident of Dhuma in Seoni district. She came to Jabalpur due to the necessary facilities of sports. Mankunwar Bai was studying BA second year in college and wanted to make the country proud in baseball. Her parents also came to Jabalpur from Seoni to help their daughter. Sanjana Barkade committed suicide by hanging herself late on Monday (June 5). It is alleged that Abdul Mansoori was pressuring Sanjana to have illicit sex.
Sanjana's father has told the police that the accused Rajan alias Abdul Mansoori had been blackmailing her for a long time with the help of the girl's photo and video. When the daughter did not listen to Abdul, the accused had put personal videos of both of them on Instagram. Sanjana Barkade was shocked by the private video going viral and she went into depression, due to which she took the step of suicide.
After the allegations made by the family, the police have started a fresh investigation in this case and arrested the accused Rajan alias Abdul Mansoori from Rewa. It is being told that the police have also found Sanjana and some of her close photos and videos near Abdul Mansuri, which were put on social media by the accused. Rajan alias Abdul Mansoori works as a street vendor. At present, the police is interrogating the accused.
