Top officials of the CRPF said that the tension increases during the soldier's stay in the forests. Due to the increasing stress, many soldiers become addicted to alcohol and at times the stress increases so much that they take steps like suicide, so special efforts are being made to make the soldiers and officers stress free. Mental wellness weeks are being organized in the camps. In this, with the help of psychologists, art of living, meditation experts and yoga teachers, the soldiers and officers can be relieved. Mental health stress management and psychosomatic illness (psycho-physiological diseases) treatment methods are being used to reduce alcohol consumption.
