The 66th National Film Awards have been announced and the event is held at the PIB Conference Hall of the First Floor of Shastri Bhawan. 23 non-feature films and 31 feature films have been awarded in the category.

The awards were due to be announced on April 24, though this time the Lok Sabha elections have delayed the announcement of the award and every year the award distribution ceremony takes place on May 3. Earlier last year, Sridevi was awarded the Best Actor award for the film 'Mom'.
