A top official of the US Department of Space NASA-JPL asserted that as mankind has set a target for space missions like Mars in a few years from now. It is currently democratizing the humongous data available through space agencies such as NASA and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) which could promote space research through next-gen cloud computing.

According to media reports scheduled for launch from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh in 2022, NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) mission to develop and launch a dual-frequency synthetic aperture radar between US and Indian space agencies Satellite is a joint project. The satellite will be the first radar imaging to use dual frequencies (L and S bands).

For your information, let us tell you that ISRO is likely to spend Rs 788 crores, while JPL's share of work on this important project is expected to be more than $ 800 million. Advanced radar imaging that will provide an unprecedented, detailed view of the Earth, the NISAR satellite is designed to observe and take certain measurements. At the same time it will also tell about the most complex processes of the house - ecosystem disturbances, ice sheets collapse and natural hazards like earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes and landslides.
