On Thursday, Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi launched a scathing attack against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister and BJP president Amit Shah, alleging that Governor B.S. Wanted to reverse the democracy of Maharashtra through Koshiyari. Sonia Gandhi has emphasized this while addressing the meeting of party leaders during the meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party.

In her statement, Sonia Gandhi further said that the Governor of Maharashtra (Koshyari) acted in an unprecedented and most reprehensible manner. There is no doubt that he acted under the instructions of the Prime Minister and the Home Minister. Sonia Gandhi on Saturday mentioned the oath-taking of Devendra Fadnavis as Chief Minister of Maharashtra along with NCP supremo Sharad Pawar's nephew Ajit Pawar. He said, the BJP's pre-election alliance with the Shiv Sena could not hold its own by arrogance and over-confidence.

According to media reports,She said, the BJP's pre-poll alliance with the Shiv Sena did not hold because of its own arrogance and over-confidence. "Every effort was made blatantly to sabotage the three-party alliance government formation, but we appealed to the Supreme Court and the Modi-Shah government was totally exposed," she said. The three parties were surprised by this decision as they were in the last round of talks to form a coalition in the state to form the government.
