Amritsar: Preparations for the Punjab assembly elections have already started. Punjab in-charge of Congress Harish Rawat has once again started trying to convince Navjot Singh Sidhu and bring him back to the Punjab government. Harish Rawat held discussions with Navjot Singh Sidhu at breakfast in Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh on Wednesday morning.

Sources have quoted that during this meeting Navjot Singh Sidhu remained adamant that either he should be appointed as the President of Punjab Pradesh Congress or the old portfolio in the Punjab cabinet was taken from him by Captain Amarinder Singh, the same The local body department should be handed back with due respect. It is being told that after meeting Navjot Singh Sidhu, now Harish Rawat will soon discuss with Captain Amarinder Singh and try to solve this whole matter.

Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh does not want to hand over the post of President of Punjab Pradesh Congress or the Department of Local Body to Navjot Singh Sidhu and he wants to bring Navjot Singh Sidhu as the Minister of Power in the Punjab Cabinet only, for which Sidhu is not ready.
