Amritsar: The BJP has been constantly attacking the Congress government in Punjab over PM Modi's security lapses. Meanwhile, Punjab Congress unit president Navjot Singh Sidhu has held a press conference on the entire issue. During this, Sidhu has said that it is an insult to the state to tell the threat of life in Punjab. With this, he has made many allegations against the BJP itself.

Questioning PM Modi's visit, Sidhu said, 'Why was the program to go by road suddenly made? There was less crowd in the rally to be held in Ferozepur, so the whole drama was created. Only 500 people were present on 70 thousand chairs. No one is supporting BJP in Punjab. BJP has been exposed in Punjab. The Punjab Congress President said that the people of Punjab have rejected the BJP. So now BJP should stop playing dirty politics. Is the IB, the central agency not responsible for this lapse.

Sidhu then raised the issue of farmers and said, "Farmers in Delhi continued to suffer for a year and a half. The farmers protested but did not commit violence.' Sidhu also attacked former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh. He described Captain Amarinder as a BJP parrot and said captain Amarinder Singh was imprisoned in a BJP cage.
