In the upcoming romance comedy Tiku Weds Sheru, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Avneet Kaur makes her Bollywood debut. The much-anticipated movie's trailer, backed by Kangana Ranaut, debuted on Wednesday. Tiku and Sheru, two opposites in nature who married, are featured in the trailer. Tiku views her marriage as a chance to move to Mumbai and realise her major acting ambition. Sheru, on the other hand, has been working hard in the field for years. The film, which is full of amusing one-liners, also emphasises people's problems in life and promises to depict an eccentric love story.

Kangana expressed her enthusiasm for the project on social media the day before the trailer was released. She posted numerous selfies on Instagram to share the trailer's release date. In the caption she wrote, “Very excited for the trailer launch tomorrow... Tiku weds Sheru on 23rd June. Only on @primevideoin.”

Tiku Weds Sheru is the first project Kangana has under her production company, Manikarnika Films, is Sheru. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur, who have a 27-year age difference between them, appear in it together for the first time. Sai Kabir is the film's director and writer. Nawazuddin was initially introduced in the movie's initial posters as Shiraz Khan Afghani, also known as Sheru. On the other side, Avneet will be seen in the movie as Tasleem Khan, also known as Tiku.
