Mumbai: Voting is going on for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. Political parties have often raised questions about the EVM machine used in voting. In this episode, the NCP has written a letter to the Election Commission to prevent disturbances in the elections. The NCP has urged the Election Commission to discontinue internet service for three kilometers near the polling booths and strong rooms across Maharashtra from 21 to 24 October. So that any disturbances in the polling booth can be done.

The NCP has written to the Election Commission about the shutdown of internet services around the polling booth for four days. Explain that there are 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra. The main contest in the election is between BJP-Shiv Sena alliance and Congress-NCP. In the Maharashtra Assembly elections, the BSP has fielded the maximum 262 candidates. The ruling BJP is contesting 164 seats. However, 14 coalition candidates are contesting on the BJP symbol.

The Communist Party of India is contesting in 16 seats and the Communist Party of India-Marxist in eight seats. Similarly, Congress is contesting 147, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena 101 and NCP 121 seats. At the same time, Shiv Sena is contesting 124 seats with BJP alliance.
