Mumbai: Voting is going on for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. Political parties have often raised questions about the EVM machine used in voting. In this episode, the NCP has written a letter to the Election Commission to prevent disturbances in the elections. The NCP has urged the Election Commission to discontinue internet service for three kilometers near the polling booths and strong rooms across Maharashtra from 21 to 24 October. Similarly, Congress is contesting 147, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena 101 and NCP 121 seats. At the same time, Shiv Sena is contesting 124 seats with BJP alliance.
