At the same time, it has been learned that earlier the dharna and protests started on Sunday in the Shaheen Bagh area against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and NRC, continued on Tuesday after Monday. During this time, the protesters uprooted the railings, sign boards, stones and trees on the road from Kalindi Kunj to Sarita Vihar. At the same time, the PWD's Maintenance Van was also damaged by the protesters and placed in the middle of the road. In order to avoid the cold, fire was burnt on the road. Till late night, the protesters were sitting on the dharna.
