Gorakhpur: Rajya Sabha member and former Union Minister of State for Finance Shiv Pratap Shukla has said that the second session of Lok Sabha and 250th session of Rajya Sabha have been very important. In this session 14 Bills have been passed in Lok Sabha and 15 in Rajya Sabha. The Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 and several bills of NRC and other departments have been successfully passed. There is no tampering of anyone's rights in any bill, but some people are engaged in spreading nuisance. He said that there is a Congress supporting these miscreants. The day the bill came, the interim president of the Congress, Sonia Gandhi, called it a black day, while PM Narendra Modi is doing everything possible to improve the condition of the country.
Shiv Pratap Shukla was meeting with journalists in Gorakhpur. He said that the Citizenship Amendment Bill is to provide citizenship to minority refugees from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh till March 2014. Except for the tenure of Mujibur Rahman in Bangladesh, it has always been troubled in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
