Unnao rape case convict Kuldeep Singh Sengar was in a bad condition when he was sentenced to 10 years. Kuldeep Singh Sengar was stunned as soon as he heard the sentence in the courtroom, as if gone into shock. At the same time, after being sentenced on Friday, all the convicts started crying in the court, while their family members also billowed outside the courtroom.

For your information, let us tell you that in the case of culpable homicide of the father of the Unnao rape victim, Sessions Judge Dharmesh Sharma of Tis Hazari court sentenced seven convicts including former MLA Kuldeep Sengar to 10 years imprisonment. Kuldeep Singh Sengar and his brother have also been fined Rs 10 lakh each. Earlier, Kuldeep Sengar had begged for mercy, describing himself as innocent. Kuldeep Sengar had told the court on Thursday that if he did anything, hang him and throw acid in his eyes. The CBI and the victim's family had demanded maximum punishment, which is life imprisonment in this case. The aggrieved party has expressed its displeasure over the lesser punishment.

Let us tell you that 55 people had testified from the victim side, while 9 witnesses had recorded their statements from the accused side. CBI did not make Kuldeep Sengar accused in this case, but Kuldeep Sengar was also tried after pleas from the victim's lawyer. The chargesheet filed on behalf of the CBI said that the victim's father was killed. During this time, there were 18 injuries on his body. Because of this, he died in police custody on 9 April 2018 on the fourth day of the incident. A false case was filed on the deceased and it all happened at the behest of Kuldeep Sengar.
