The date of the Medical UG Entrance Examination NEET 2021 has been announced. The date of examination has been changed. Neet will now be held on 12th September 2021. The examination was earlier scheduled to be held on 1st August 2021. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted this news.

The NEET (UG) 2021 will be held on 12th September 2021 across the country following COVID-19 protocols. The application process will begin from 5 pm tomorrow through the NTA website(s).

At the same time, the Education Minister has said that the number of examination centres has been increased following corona guidelines. Earlier, NEET UG Exam 2021 was scheduled to be held in 155 cities of the country. Neet examination will now be held in 198 cities across India. The examination was conducted at 3862 centres in 2020. More examination centres will be set up this time.

With this, Dharmendra Pradhan has said that the process of application for NEET 2021 will start on Tuesday, 13th July 2021. A link to the online application form will be released at 5 pm on the portal https://ntaneet.nic.in/Ntaneet/Welcome.aspx of the National Testing Agency portal https://nta.ac.in/ or NTA NEET. You can apply online through either portal.

In order to ensure social distancing norms, number of cities where examination will be conducted has been increased from 155 to 198. The number of examination centres will also be increased from the 3862 centres used in 2020.

Arrangements to avoid corona:-
NTAÂ is making all preparations to conduct the examination with the prevention of the coronavirus. The Education Minister has said that face masks will be given to all students at the examination centre. Neet examination will have different time slots for entry and exit after the examination so that the crowd does not gather at once. Social distance will be ensured due to the sanitization of exam halls and campuses and examinations.
