New Delhi: New date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2019 for the students of Odisha has been announced by National Testing Agency (NTA). As per the public notice released on ntaneet.nic.in, NEET 2019 Odisha Exam would be now conducted on May 20, 2019. The examination would be conducted from 10 am to 1 pm on Monday, May 20, 2019. Revised admit cards would be issued soon.

It should be noted that the NEET exam which was earlier scheduled for May 5, 2019 was canceled in Odisha due to Cyclone Fani. NTA had then released the notice informing students of the same. The new dates have now been released.

NTA has also decided to conduct the examination for those candidates in Karnataka who were unable to appear for the examination due to train delay. Also, a few students at one of the centers in West Bengal – Siliguri, could not get the NEET 2019 paper in the selected language. NTA would also be conducting the examination for all thus affected. 

All the students are advised to only wear slipper and sandals with low heels. Closed footwear, like shoes, is not permitted to the exam center. Candidates who wish to wear the cultural or customary dress to the exam center should report at least an hour before the reporting time for proper frisking.
