The National Testing Agency has started inviting Online Applications for NEET (UG) 2023 for admission to undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India. 

 200 multiple-choice questions from the subjects of physics, chemistry, and biology (four alternatives, one correct response) will make up the entrance test (Botany and Zoology).

Each subject's 50 questions will be split into two sections (A and B). All candidates will take the same examination, which will last 200 minutes (03 hours and 20 minutes) from 2:00 PM to 05:20 PM (Indian Standard Time).

13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu, will be used for the NEET (UG) - 2023 exam.

According to Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act of 2019, all medical institutions must administer the NEET (UG) as a standard, common, and uniform national eligibility-cum-entrance test for admission to undergraduate medical education. 
Likewise, in accordance with Section 14 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, there shall be a uniform NEET (UG) for admission to undergraduate courses in each of the disciplines—namely, BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses of the Indian System of Medicine—in all medical institutions covered by this Act. According to the 2020 National Commission for Homeopathy Act, NEET (UG) will also be required for admission to the BHMS programme.

Key Dates for the NEET Test in 2023: Online Application Form Submission: 06 March–06 April 2023 (up to 09:00 PM).
The last day of successful fee transactions using a credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI is April 6, 2023. (up to 11:50 PM).

Fee Payable by Candidate Category of Candidate Centres In India:  General Rs. 1700/- General-EWS/ OBC Rs. 1600/- -NCL Rs. 9500/- SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender Rs. 1000/- Processing charges & Goods and Services Tax (GST) are to be paid by the candidate, as applicable.
