Mahrajganj, Narcotics worth Rs 50 lakh were found in the possession of a Nepalese National, by Sashstra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel at the Indo-Nepal border.
Police arrested the accused, identified as 20-year-old Janak Dhatri, was travelling to India from Nepal.
SSB Deputy Commandant Manish Kumar said, “he was arrested last evening from Sonauli area during a routine check with 5 kgs of Charas worth Rs 50 lakh”.
The convict has been booked under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Kumar added.
