Nepal PM to visit India with wife on April 1, to meet PM Modi

New Delhi: Nepal's Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba along with his wife Dr Arju Deuba is scheduled to visit India next month. His tour will begin on April 1 and will continue till April 3. He will meet Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and meet  PM Narendra Modi on April 2. 

The Ministry of External Affairs has informed that External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval will also meet the Nepalese Prime Minister. Earlier, an aide of Deuba had informed that Deuba is going to India at the invitation of PM Modi. This will be Deuba's first foreign trip since taking over as Nepal's PRIME Minister in July last year. He has become the Prime Minister of Nepal for the fifth time. 

Officials said That Deuba will also hold a high-level meeting with Prime Minister Modi and other senior leaders during his visit to Delhi. According to sources, the visit is a high-level dialogue between the two countries from time to time. It will provide new opportunities for issues related to the development and economic partnership, cooperation in trade, health sector, power, connectivity, review of people-to-people bilateral relations and mutual interest.
